How do I get a Retraflex hose unstuck in PVC pipe?
Steps
1. Tie a small ball of sticky paper to the end of a rope.
*The length of the rope must be longer than the PVC length (ex: PVC 40" = 45" rope)*
2. Vacuum the rope through the Retraflex wall outlet where the hose is stuck, making sure to hold the end of the rope.
3. Deactivate the vacuum and check the vacuum cleaner tank to see if the rope has surrendered.
4. Tie a washer of at least 1 and ¼ inches to the end and quietly pull the rope up by hand to get the hose out.
