[FAQ about maintenance and installation](https://docs.trovac.com/airstream-north-america?hsLang=en#faq-about-maintenance-and-installation) # Maintenance on StickVac Air & StickVac Air+ ### Questions : **1.** The Stickvac motor works, but the gears don't, what does this mean? → It means that the circuit board needs to be replace : TDSTICKACONTB --- **2.** The StickAir which stops after 4-5 minutes of use. It restarts immediately when you turn it back on → It is the thermocutter that acts because the motor overheats. So motor to be changed: TDSTICKAMOT1 or TDSTICKAMOT2 --- ### Replacement procedure for circuit board on StickVac Air & StickVac Air+ ### Steps :  **1.** Remove plastic cover of the screw behind the handle and remove screw underneath and take off the bac of the handle.                                                                                            ![image-png](https://docs.trovac.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Autres/image-png.png?width=214&name=image-png.png) **2.** Using a flat screwdriver push to upper part of the motor compartment to unclip and for it out.   **3.** Once top cover removed, you’ll have access to circuit board.    **4. **Unplug the circuit board and replace with the new one. **Follow the opposite instruction to reassemble. ** -
